Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord Goes forth with fury, A continuing whirlwind; It will fall violently on the head of the wicked. (Jeremiah 30:23)
The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, And will not at all acquit the wicked. The Lord has His way In the whirlwind and in the storm, And the clouds are the dust of His feet. (Nahum 1:3)
When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, But the righteous has an everlasting foundation. (Proverbs 10:25)
Note: This is a prophetic warning for South East (and East) of Queensland, maybe even north coast New South Wales, and perhaps other east gate locations around the world. Sharing this in the biblical understanding that it is the will of the Lord to share warnings he provides (e.g. see Ezekiel), and that in doing so the Lord may be seeking intercessions and repentance to stop the events, or simply allow us to make ready. Importantly, any such words are to be first tested with the Lord, for this prophet and his intercessory wife are more than aware we only see in part.
Over the last month the Lord has been revealing to both myself and my wife clear insights to coming storms that also involve whirlwinds. From the watches of the Lord, both in prayer, dreams, and times at various physical watches from Ballina to Gladstone, there is a clear alarm being revealed. Storms are coming, and even whirlwinds in the South East that will test the foundation, and address the wickedness of men. These storms will see even 800 mm or more rain fall in 12 hours, and also involve two major whirlwinds (tornado or cyclones) occurring in the South East of Queensland, impacting Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and perhaps extending south across the border to northern NSW, and north toward Gladstone.
Such storms are not something anyone should desire, and it is fair to say since receiving these warning some events have struck areas in the regions noted above, and have caused some damage which may have impacted good and bad, but nothing of any great harm yet. One would suggest they are a foretaste of that which is to come. While it can also be said that some of this can be just part of the normal weather pattern for summer in this region, the Lord appears to be speaking more about events that can be of greater impact, as they relate to sins in the land where wickedness is prevailing in the government, and business and community ‘kings and queens’ (leaders) of the land, that is also being supported by many others.
“They sow the wind, And reap the whirlwind. The stalk has no bud; It shall never produce meal. If it should produce, Aliens would swallow it up.” (Hosea 8:7)
Perhaps due to our arrogance in believing we can manage such events with our knowledge and technology, or our blindness due to focus on world gain, or belief that nothing like that can come to us, there is the real possibility we will not even appropriately respond to more imminent warnings when they come. The medias extended hype of any dire predictions often really now resulting in the fact most see them as the “boy crying wolf” yet again. There is a sense the direction of the whirlwinds, and size, will catch people off guard.
Please, let us make ready. First in prayer and intercession, and let is also be followed by repentance by leaders and us all in the community. Wickedness in selling ourselves for investment or development, deriving laws contrary to God’s will, greed by a few to the detriment of many, and the continuing poor treatment of the lonely, poor, fatherless, and widow, is not overlooked by the Lord. God also sees the plight of His people, and the hypocritical treatment of them by those who say they believe in equality, and yet clearly do not. Encouragingly, the Lord is saying those who have built their foundation in the Him, will find Him as their refuge during such events, and those found in Jesus Christ, by His grace and mercy, can also extend their spiritual house as a refuge to others. So in your realm of prayer, either to your neighbours or beyond as the Lord provides, we can pray in His shelter.
Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law,
Have fellowship with You?
They gather together against the life of the righteous,
And condemn innocent blood.
But the Lord has been my defense,
And my God the rock of my refuge.
He has brought on them their own iniquity,
And shall cut them off in their own wickedness;
The Lord our God shall cut them off. (Psalm 94:20-23)
The Lord Jesus Christ came to pay the price for all sin, and it is this merciful act that allows us to pray to Him that we would see people receive the purchased price of forgiveness. He is also the true Judge, and as such administers justice for all. Such justice is His to be enforced, and so we trust in the Lord’s wisdom. It is also true that many of the sins of the wicked in the land have been done in the arrogant notion that God is either not real, or cannot see, or simply is below their higher understanding. As such they have sown wind, they reap the whirlwind.
While the Lord will allow beyond our understanding time for grace to be received, in His mercy and truth He also hears the cries of those treated unjustly, and of those of His family, and in His ultimate wisdom can even allow the sins of the wicked be there own judgement.
But our response is to pray, intercede, and repent, for surely we only stand in the Lord humbly for it is by His grace alone we are saved, and all have fallen short of the Lord’s will. All things are possible in the Lord, even the fear of God and a spirit of repentance can fall one a region or nation in one day. Time is short, for the sense is that some of these events will occur around Christmas this year, and perhaps even sooner. Our Lord is gracious, and in Him all things are possible. Pray for protection, and that He establishes His shelter over you, your family, and neighbours. Dig deeper in to Him, shoring up your foundations in the Lord, running to Him as our tower and refuge, and sheltering under His wings.
Sounding the alarm, trusting in the Lord’s mercy and grace in doing so. If I am wrong in sharing this may the Lord forgive this servant, and perhaps it is good then for no such ill will come. However, if in raising this sound it is in the Lord’s will, may it be heard by the faithful carried on the wind by His angels, and His word be fulfilled. Let the angels sound the alarm. Father in heaven, thank you for your mercy, and truth. Holy Spirit, bless you that by your power the Lord’s will is done, and my Lord and Saviour Jesus, thank You for your forgiveness and love. Amen.
