As we ponder the wonderful news of the rescue of the 12 boys and their soccer coach from the caves near Chiang Rai, in the hills of northern Thailand, let us also rejoice in the prophetic messages it reveals.
For hundreds of years our Lord Jesus Christ has sent prophets and missionaries to this beautiful nation to share the gospel of His kingdom, to bring a bright light to a people in darkness. While welcoming of people who brought this message first preached by Christ and the twelve disciples He coached, only a small percentage have listened and responded.
Those in the hills of the mountains of northern Thailand perhaps being more receptive of the gospel than others in this beautiful nation. So let this rescue be a prophetic sign to the nation. The message of the Christ, and preached by His twelve, will no longer be hidden from their eyes, but brought in to the light, with people rising up from within the nation, and from the nations, to reveal the message that can bring salvation to the nation of Thailand.
