Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. (Genesis 1:3-4)
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6)
For our Lord God commanded Light, and this is the life of man. And having received this light as Christ Jesus shone in our hearts, so by the Holy Spirit and the abiding presence of our Heavenly Father and Jesus with us, we become the house of God and His lighthouses.
Shine forth with boldness, the darkness cannot resist or comprehend such light. In the turbulent world in which He sent us, with increasing dark, the lost need the light we carry within. Burn brightly.
