That which is wrought in the hidden place of God is the most beautiful, a faith and heart precious to Him. And at His time He will choose to reveal such beauty, and yet Christ is a jealous lover and would sooner keep us, His crafted beauty, for Himself. And yet our Lord will reveal such treasures at the appointed times for He would wish all creation would know of His love.
My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.
(Psalms 139:15-16)
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
(1 Peter 3:3-4)
I love this and the shot is amazing!
Thank you, the photo is of an orchid bud in our garden which after much time will hopefully bloom soon.
