A friend, your best friend, doesn’t just know your likes etc, they know your ways. They know what is on your heart, and are quite understanding of what motivates you as you create your world. And, if you are their best friend, you reciprocate. This is just a small part of what it means to be a friend, beyond love, communications, and time….
And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.

He made known His ways to Moses,
His acts to the children of Israel.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
