Because of Jesus Christ we no longer live in the shadows of the past but in the brightness of His future.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
Oh, send out Your light and Your truth!!Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle.

For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:11-12)
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)
