Note: The following is a glimpse in to what I sense the Lord God is saying for the year that is coming. For your prayerful consideration in Christ Jesus, may He grant you guidance for the year to come.
The voice of the LORD is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The LORD is over many waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
Psalms 29:3-4
‘When God speaks, the wind will blow; When God speaks, revelations comes; When God speaks, He calls us to come aside and watch with Him. Open your hands, for there is coming a grace to receive in due time, what He says, and the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit, and His work.’
5785/2025, the year of the voice of the Water and the breath of God. A time of wind and water, and great confluence in these. Moves in the Spirit, will be mirrored in nature, and the houses, particularly new ones, will be tested in this season as the winds and seas blow against them. Foundational weaknesses will be tested, and falls will occur. However, those built of Christ will become places of refuge for many, like a strong fortress. God’s speaks and the winds blow, but so too He releases His spirit of revelation, and the grace to receive both. The winds of change are released.
In this year their is also a particular grace for the prayer watch. Watching with God as He performs His word, praying with God over what He calls you to watch over. Five is said to be the number of grace, and so for many this prayer watch will be to see God’s healing and saving grace be manifested in people’s lives. The voice of Spirit will be calling you to this watch, and for many this will be a renewed call to meet with God at specific times (watches) with Him. As we come aside to Him fresh revelations bring new life.
His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;
Revelation 1:15
The voice of the Spirit, can be like many waters, and so for different people the voice can mean different things. This voice causes the rivers of life to flow, peace to come to the storm, and waves that bring change. As the voice of the Lord goes forth over the waters, the waters will respond with their own cry.
Your bow was made quite ready; Oaths were sworn over Your arrows. Selah. You divided the earth with rivers. The mountains saw You and trembled; The overflowing of the water passed by. The deep uttered its voice, and lifted its hands on high.
Habakkuk 3:9-10
Confluence
Tsunami. Cyclones. These words will reverberate around the world, nations shall not be spared from the confluences that bring change. Waters will pile up in a heap, be released, and cleansing follows. The build up from years of neglect and sinful ways will be washed away. While these storms of water will cause tumult, there is a sense that through them God will still work out His good purpose despite the endeavours of the enemy. There is a wisdom to be gained, to understand when to speak peace, or even to call forth the waves. Only the voice of God can speak to the waters in accordance to His will. Creative powers (forces) will be at play. What might seem to be destructive, is actually making new things.
Then He (Jesus) arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
Mark 4:39
Watch for activities in the air and sea, including conflict. Sea battles will occur.
In the nations there are those the see themselves as the saviour of their nation, even it messiah. These national leaders would do well to remember that it is God who crowns a king, and it is He takes he crowns away. Their unravelling begins, and starts from within their inner circle. The cleansing word will be spoken that expose and remove the false spirits. Houses of cards soon fall to the voice of the Spirit.
Rivers in dry places
Powerful moves of the Holy Spirit break forth in the fullness of the kingdom of God, including rivers appearing in dry places. The Lord’s people will need to let go of their own structures and processes if they are to be caught up in this move of God. The preceding two years set the groundswell for this manifestation of the Holy Spirit, and those who positioned themselves according to His leading will be blessed.
Setting apart
Teaching and understanding in God’s word characterise this year, as people look for the deeper things of the Lord, searching for meaning, they behold the Almighty, our Lord Jesus Christ.
In preparation for this season be ready to be called suddenly aside, so the Lord can bring clarity and correction in order to position you well for what is to come. This is the grace of God, and though this may seem painful at the time, it is the very action needed for us to walk the path He now lays before us, to enter the right door. These God resets may be short in nature, but profound in impact for the future.
You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
John 15:3
The year will be characterised by the beginning of a move of the Holy Spirit where many will experience a revelation of their washing by the word of God. This is a grace and holiness movement, where those inspired by the redeeming, gracious words of God, receive godly insight to their divine redeemed state as they believe in the voice of Jesus, and out of loving obedience choose the road of being set apart unto Him. So this movement begins, and unfolds in the years that follow. God’s inspired word washes away the shame, pain, hurt, and sin of our lives, and we are released to enter afresh into an intimate life with Him. Learning anew to come closer, not separated by our mindset, religious spirits, the lies of the enemy, or the pain and shame from the past.
Get ready, with the voice of the water comes movement, rushing streams or deep flows, but there is life in the wellsprings of God, and with it can come cleansing, revival, restoration, and restructure.
Rise of the prayer watch
Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there. But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.
Matthew 14:22-29
While the wind will blow, and waves roar, those whose house is built on the Lord will stand. This resilience coming through obedience to the Lord, even when temptation arose. There is comfort also knowing that Jesus Christ is watching over us, and in what may seem to be the darkest hour for some, He comes to deliver us and place our feet on a broad place.
So the Lord, is also call many to join with Him in prayer watch, watching over and praying for those going through hard times, knowing in His timing He will encounter them. God will call those to watch over His promises and people during their stormy times, encouraging them to know they will make it through to the other side, and in so doing arrive at the place of God’s destiny for them.
Expect to see new prayer gatherings occurring, even in the early hours of the morning. Here fresh revelations will be received, and anointing by the Holy Spirit for intercession for the saints and creation. Like Jesus, you maybe alone with God on the mountain, but it is important you ascend to this place, for His intercession through you will bring relief for others. Some will once again climb the watch towers to peer into the distance, seeking the coming move of God, and even the return of Christ.
Some prophetic insights through the Hebrew numbers
Note: As history, and the Bible reveals, the Lord God provides insights to times and days through the pictures He paints in the numbers that make up the years and seasons. These are not complete, and require fully prophetic revelation, and yet seem to provide a guide for that which will follows. Thus the following is provided for your prayerful consideration as a framework for the future as we look in to the pictures painted by the numbers of the years we are entering. May God grant you His insights that help guide you through the next season.
The year 2025 = 10×2; 10×2 + 5 = Courts are seated, and and times of completion, when open hands prepare to receive; Prayer, worship, receive, revelation, watch, behold, breath of God, divine light and spark, creative power, grace, equipping. After seasons of prayer in humility, with hands outstretched you receive revelations and God creative power for His purposes, God enters into man’s circumstances to bring His destiny and identity.
10 (Yod):
Yod (י) equal to 10: Is a picture of an arm and hand closed, or just arm and hand; resembling also a man in prayer. The meaning of Yod being to work, throw, or worship. Also speaks of the hand and potential of God.
The number 10 also speaks of God’s completeness, quorum, full council/court God’s order, and base number.
The symbol of Yod (י) speaks of His presence in all things, as that symbol is in all other characters of the Hebrew alphabet.
Kaf (כ) is equal to 20, speaks of palm, palm of God, blessing, provision, gift in the palm, praise, receive.
5 (Hey): or ה
Hey (ה) equal to 5: Is a picture a man with arms raised. The meanings include look, reveal, breath, and behold. There is a particular sense of divine breath, revelation and light, and His creative power (ie. He spoke and it was). Gen. 1:3-4; Ps. 33:6).
The divine presence meaning of this character is also revealed when we look at the calling in to God’s purpose. When looking at the Hebrew, the introduction of He by God to Abram and Sarai creating Abraham and Sarah. This prefix to the names converting ‘a man’, to ‘the man’.
Also traditionally the character for He is said to be created when part (י – Yod) of Aleph (representing God) left to join the brokenness of humanity represented by Dalet, redeeming and bring God in man. Meaning opening the heart to the Spirit of God…and thus salvation and Christ in us. Aleph: א; Yod: י; Dalet: ד ; Hey: ה or הּ

7 (Zayin): ז or ז
Zayin is a picture of a mattock or sword. Meanings include food, cut, and nourish. It is said to speak of war and food, and even warring for food.
7: Is the number of completion and rest, wholeness, and blessing.
Zayin also speaks of cutting time in to seven:
• Shabbat (Sabbath) – 7th day
• Shauvot = 49th day of Passover
• Tishri – 7th month of the Hebrew year
• Shemitah – 7th year of rest for the land
• Yovel – 49th year.
• Millenium kingdom – the 7th millennium of human history (week of millenniums).
Zayin (ז) is said to be a crowned Vav/Vau (ו or ו). (Vav representing man and a straight light from God to man). Zayin is therefore seen to represent returning light (of heaven), Crowned man; King, and King of kings.
Nun (ן or נ) – 700 – is a pictograph representing a seed, and has associated meanings of: seed, ‘son of’, heir, continue, son, faithfulness, and promised seed. Interestingly in Aramaic ‘Nun ‘also has the meaning of ‘fish’, and is this fish that was used as Greek symbol for Christ and Christians.
700 could also represented by 7 (Zayin) x 100 (Qof). Where QoF talks of sun on the horizon, revolution, circle, horizon, time, complete; or, sewing needle, eye of the needle, nape of neck, monkey. Noting that in modern Hebrew there is no distinction between Qof and Kaph.

Interpretation: Through divine revelation, and as we stand firm with the word of God, trusting God with victory over the enemy, we hear the voice of God speak and breath life into our circumstance, or we hear the revelations of God that bring new identity and create new life within us as we receive Him further into our lives. That which was conceived in the heart, was nurtured in the hidden space, started to arise at the voice of the Father, began to be revealed in light of the Son as it was nurtured in His house of prayer, began to arise as the Spirit moved, and as we entered into the door and path place before us, God now brings fresh revelation, and His presence in our lives brings destiny and promise. As He speaks He releases His creative power, and the winds of His Spirit begin to move, rising up, and He releases the four winds to fulfil His purposes. Time to stand on the rock of Christ, knowing in this place you find refuge as the storms surge around, and in due season He will encounter you and instantly you will be on the other side of the tumult, and your feet placed in a broad place, firmly where the Lord desires. Time to watch and pray, joining Christ in heavenly places and to intercede with Him.
The Decade of Mouth and Open hand
When considering the decade that started in 2020/5780, and the pictures portrayed through the numbers, their Hebrew meaning, and first references in the Bible (e.g. Genesis creation insights), there are some themes that emerge. The following table summarises some of these. In general, the Hebrew year starts around September, and so the Pey (meaning mouth, number value 80) comes first, before the Kaf (meaning palm/open hand) of ’20. Thus, the Lord speaks, the prayer and prophetic declaration – the other voices – initiate something that starts to be received into the hand in a few months. Prayers answered, orders fulfilled, prophetic utterance revealed.

Joining of heaven and earth occurs, and so to the new efforts of humankind to flourish with new partners. New communities, and old acquaintances are made. New governmental coverings will occur, and expansions of houses will occur. A grace for extending prayer covering exists in this period.

In a time of rest to enjoy the fruit of efforts, there is a vulnerability to forces or war. Battle defences will need to be in place beforehand, and so to the needed answer…faith in God, for His gives victory when resting in Him. Pruning and cutting of will mark this time, as new things are reshaped for the future, and old things removed. Man’s peace gives way to global unrest, those founded in Christ will stay in peace.

Times of division and separations occur, new partnerships falter, and yet those who know their boundaries will flourish. There is a gate to enter to find truth but beware the lure of self-desire will also present a gate to darkness.

Listen to the voices carefully, for deception lies in the hearts of some during this period, however staying near to heaven’s truth will bring strong contrast. Some will fall when tempted to challenge the hand that prospered them or seeking to become their own masters. New ideas and life begin to be conceived, but remain hidden for a season, to emerge in the coming years.

Now the work of the mouth finds its crescendo, and its work well and truly being received. While for many the works continues, for others seasons end. The stillness is rewarded for those who trust in the Lord. The rise of the witnessing church is complete, and so to the opposition. The light and dark stand in great contrasts, and divisions have occurred across many old houses and nations, overtaken by new relationships and mergers.
