To the leaders of the Group of 20 (G20) gathering occurring in Brisbane, that being those of Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, European Union, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States of America, and Australia, we welcome you, and thank you for coming to our nation, and our city.

We honour you and your roles as leaders of the world, and bless your nations. May you receive honour and blessing from this city, Brisbane, whose ancient name Edenglassie speaks of a fort on a hill, where you meet with rich, generous, dear friends, in an open green place. Our prayers and intercession are that as you come here, may it be as though you are coming to the mountain of God, and that you would meet with His love, peace, prosperity, and protection.

May the Lord’s angels encamp around you and protect, and His watchmen stand guard over you and all in this city. Let our gates be filled with righteousness, and as you enter in you meet joy and peace.

Our prayers are that as you meet, wisdom and peace would also meet with you, and that your decisions would be of divine guidance that will bring prosperity to the poor, peace and justice to the nations, and joy to all the children.

While we may have our differences, we pray a blessing will be upon you all, and as you leave it will follow you. May an uncommon purity of spirit and peace be found in your gatherings, and as leaders you will find a way of leading us all in to a new season of justice and grace.

May you bless and honour us, as a response to the warm welcome and provision you receive in your visit. You are our guests, and we seek only to make your stay one to fondly remember. Let your lodging be like a sanctuary, you placement in them perfect for your stay.

People of Brisbane, may we host these leaders well, honouring them and serving them as unto God, for as we do we have practiced well our ability to host the presence of the Kings of kings.

Surely the Lord has brought the leaders of the G20 nations, and their people, to this His Holy hill, to meet with Him. Let us respond well, knowing that as they meet with us we represent the Lord, and thus let us do so as led by His Holy Spirit.

Let meekness, gentleness, humility, and godly leadership be found in their gathering;

May they meet the presence of God, and the words that are declared be inspired by the Holy Spirit.

May love fill their residences and all within, let it pour through them and out of them in to this city; declaring their love for Brisbane.

Let them receive honour, and give honour; the peace of God fill them; and acknowledge the one true God.

Let truth prevail, life abundantly received, and death silenced. Let Australia rise up in to its place, defender of the people of faith, the land of the Holy Spirit;

Let the true prophetic be heard and declared; Divine prosperity released and the city rejoice.

Let there be worship of the true God in this city, and encounters with the Christ.

May godly wisdom and government be the hallmark of G20 leaders gathering, meeting with God in His counsel; His peace and truth prospering the nations and the city.

We thank the Lord that any plans of the enemy of peace would be laid bare, and thwarted, coming to nought. Even the voice of the enemy silenced. Let life and joy fill its place. And to those who do not come to our city in peace because of G20, if you stay it is only because the spirit that was in you has turned to love not war.

Let us remember God has already installed His King, Jesus Christ.

Lord, let all this be so because you are faithful and just, and hear our prayers. God be glorified in all we do.

All this we prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
