Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”

These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth. And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire. (Revelation 11:1-6)

The Lord Jesus is birthing a new prophetic movement in His Church, one that prepares her for His return, and readies humankind for His reign on earth.

As in the days of His servants Hannah (1 Samuel 1:9-20), and Elizabeth (Luke 1), He has raised up those intercessors who birth such a move. These are carved in anguish, and yet have a deep love for God, and through them God will birth such a prophetic child. This year (2019) sees the birth of the forerunners of this movement, who prepare for the millennial reign. These are given the anointings of Elijah and David, the prophet and the king.

The Great Day of God

“For behold, the day is coming,

Burning like an oven,

And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.

And the day which is coming shall burn them up,”

Says the Lord of hosts,

“That will leave them neither root nor branch.

But to you who fear My name

The Sun of Righteousness shall arise

With healing in His wings;

And you shall go out

And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

You shall trample the wicked,

For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet

On the day that I do this,”

Says the Lord of hosts.

“Remember the Law of Moses, My servant,

Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel,

With the statutes and judgments.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet

Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

And he will turn

The hearts of the fathers to the children,

And the hearts of the children to their fathers,

Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” (Malachi 4)

Of this movement none has been before, and this is not a person, rather a body of people. Until this time there has been a drought of the word of God, and now comes a widespread revelation of God, turning the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the children’s hearts to their fathers. Healing comes to family, and with great signs and wonders the fear of God will come to many, and yet there are those who will hide their faces from the Lord.

As those called to intercede for the return of Christ arise, so to this witnessing church comes forth and shakes the earth and mankind. The Lord also purifying His bride with the baptism of fire.

“So bare down Elizabeths, trust in Me”, says the Lord, “for birth comes soon, and great is the work the child will do preparing for the King of Glory. This child will decrease that the King will increase, for the whole of creation groans for His return.”

Of those finding themselves leading in this movement, they are firstly servants of the King, and all who serve Him. Looking only to Him, and blessed with the anointing and callings of apostle, prophet, evangelist, teacher, and pastor, and given the Shepherds heart, they honour all, preferring others, and seek to see all believers know their Head is Christ Jesus alone, no other, and by the Holy Spirit they are led, no other, and certainly not themselves. Called to see the royal priesthood of believers rise up in to the ekklesia, seated in the council of God, with the fear of God, and on bended knee, only out of obedience to their Lord, do these lead. Not seeking their own honour, but only to glorify the King of kings, Christ Jesus.

And often heard in this new movement of God is, ‘who is the leader?’ For this is a selfless generation of God, who know there is but One leader, and understand that those who know Him are all sons and daughters of the Father.
