Amen to a maturing church, where the saints pursue Christ, abiding deeper in Him, desire the meat of truth, where pastors also mature and stop serving up milk to keep those they are to shepherd as babies, where the walk of suffering is embraced, and the true love of God is lived out. The Lord seeks a spotless Bride, and for us to rise as sons and daughters of God, not forever toddlers.
The issue of immaturity is not limited to the United States or Australian church, it persists largely in the west thanks to lazy Christians and false shepherds. We are the church of Jesus Christ, and called as the royal priesthood of believers, not afraid to come boldly in to the Lord God’s throne room. These are meant to be powerful times, as the witnessing church of Revelations arises. The veil was torn two thousand years ago by Christ, for us to freely enter in to the Holy of Holies, but ever since too many church ‘leaders’ having being trying to pull it back and restore the mosaic priesthood…so they could be like gods, make us dependant on them, and for control which brings them reward.
The issue is not theirs alone, but also for us His saints. Rather than diligently seeking the Lord, moving beyond the milk to meat, lust to true love, we allow ourselves to be controlled so that our ministers can vicariously live out our faith, thinking this will save us, but in reality is laziness and unbelief, and the Lord will sadly say to many, “I do not know you”, and on His return they will be knocking on the closed door.
It’s time to serve and minister as ones in the council of God, from the Lord’s heavenly perspectives, not from the view of earth. The agendas of man are not a distraction for the Lord. The Lord will shake up His church and quickly reveal those who have a deep foundation, so the mature can be revealed in the blink of an eye.
But never presume to know the exact time of the Lord’s return, and dismiss the desire for it just because you think it stops His saints pursuing Christ now. It is a key theme of the New and Old Testament. Faithful, mature, deepening intercessors and watchmen are being called by Christ to the watch for His return..yes that does not mean He is necessarily coming back tomorrow…but that is the call from heaven to those who have been humbled, but devoted to their Lord. So expect that desire of His return to be on the lips of many.
As for the pre-trib rapture, well it seems those who do not believe in it maybe in for a surprise! It appears that in the US there are a few who are promulgating an anti-pre trib view, but this appears based on an earthly perspective of what is happening now, maybe a lack of belief about what the Lord said is possible, and not appreciating that how long you work diligently in His field is not how the Lord rewards you. His truth will stand, and His coming will surprise.
So continue watching with expectancy for His return, knowing the watch means the maturing and purifying of His bride, the rise of the Witnessing Church, the sorting of nations, readiness for the millennium reign, and the alignment of heavenly and earthly structures. Ascend the mountain of the Lord, and be in the House of the Beloved.
Psalms 24
The King of Glory and His Kingdom
The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.
For He has founded it upon the seas,
And established it upon the waters.
Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
Or who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive blessing from the Lord,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your face.

Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory.
