And so we who walk in Christ, should know the power of His authority and word in us.
To these waves we say, ‘stop right there!’
Do you not fear Me?’ says the Lord.
‘Will you not tremble at My presence,
Who have placed the sand as the bound of the sea,
By a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass beyond it?
And though its waves toss to and fro,
Yet they cannot prevail;
Though they roar, yet they cannot pass over it.
(Jeremiah 5:22)
When He assigned to the sea its limit,
So that the waters would not transgress His command,
When He marked out the foundations of the earth,
(Proverbs 8:29)
The sons and daughter of God should know who they are in God. It is wise also to know the designs of God, and His blueprints,
Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
(Matthew 8:23-26)
