Thousands of years ago the Israelites were given the design of God’s temple they were to build (by the creator Himself), and covering the walls amongst the palms and angels were flower buds and blooms in the places representing the very throne of the Lord. As the Bible reveals all were just shadows of heaven, and so the question, ‘are there flowers in heaven?’ is answered..
The inside of the temple was cedar, carved with ornamental buds and open flowers. All was cedar; there was no stone to be seen…..Then he carved all the walls of the temple all around, both the inner and outer sanctuaries, with carved figures of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers.
(1 Kings 6:18,29)
….since there are priests who offer the gifts according to the law; who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, “See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”
