The King’s Canopy for Israel

The Lord God is Israel’s shield and His glory their rearguard. Thank you God that more than the Iron Dome, King Jesus will raise up His canopy over the land, that they would be blessed with the quenching of the fiery darts, and provide shelter and refuge from the storm of Islamic hatred and lies. May His saints join with Him in heavenly places to see the Tabernacle of His presence bring peace and protection to the nation, and may the people of Israel be willing and turn their hearts afresh to their God and Saviour, Christ Jesus. Amen.

And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain. (Isaiah 4:6)

For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. (Psalms 27:5)

For You have been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, ashade from the heat; For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. (Isaiah 25:4)

I will love You, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. (Psalms 18:1-3)

above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. (Ephesians 6:16)

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ” (Luke 13:34-35)
