April 2021: Prophetic insight for your prayers and intercession in Christ…
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” (John 15:1-4)
The Lord Jesus is calling us to once again understand the wisdom of the Vine. And there is a sense, that for the United States of America, such truths will be particularly relevant, and indeed provide insight in to what is soon to come. For He desires that you bear much fruit, and yet amongst you are those who do not abide in Him, and for others it is time from pruning, that old growth should give way to new shoots. Trust in the Lord, for His plans for you are for a future and a hope, and to bear abundant fruit for the kingdom of God and His Christ.
As time goes by, shortly you wonder why this has happened to states and peoples, be not afraid. God is working out His good purposes in it all. He turns over the sod, and prunes back your branches, so that the world will see the abundance of your nation, and give glory to God. For surely you need not be a waning super power, but rather a flourishing tree under which many will take refuge. Only remember both riches and honour come from the Lord, and He reigns over all. In His hand is power and might, and in God’s hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. Do not fear the enemy, his way will not prosper, for what he meant for your pain, the Vinedresser will turn for His glory, and your honour.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. (John 15:5-8)
