Out of our Heavenly Father’s goodness and mercy comes the rain, the floods, and His glory that fills the House of God

The Lord will again cause the dry land to flood, rivers in the deserts, life in the wilderness, fountains breaking forth, and He will fill His house with His glory…all because of His goodness and mercy, and not due to our works that we should boast. The hungry will be filled, the thirsty shall receive eternal drink…and the House if God, His living temples, will be filled with His glory.

Many seek to build their church not God’s, and expand their kingdom, not His…and so they will crumble. And yet, out of His goodness and mercy His restores His bride, and the body of Christ is refreshed, and His kingdom is built. He will move in mercy and grace, and in surprising places…where the broken have taken refuge, and the humble do worship Him, even if in weakness. His word will be fulfilled.

Thank you our Lord Jesus Christ for Your word is eternal, and completes all that for which You sent it to do. Let the waters come in the dry and heart place, even the hearts of men, and Your glory be so powerfully present that Your church is filled and we respond in humility and awe. Your words of goodness and mercy will break open the heavens and hard ground, by the Holy Spirit, and the authority of Jesus Christ…for You Father prepare Christ’s Bride for His return.

Isaiah 48:20-21

Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! With a voice of singing, Declare, proclaim this, Utter it to the end of the earth; Say, “The Lord has redeemed His servant Jacob!” And they did not thirst When He led them through the deserts; He caused the waters to flow from the rock for them; He also split the rock, and the waters gushed out.

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 2 Chronicles 5:13-14

indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.

2 Chronicles 7:1-3

When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. And the priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord’s house. When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying, “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever.”
