Fire and Water: This is 2020 (and 5780)

Grace and truth; Holiness and Love; Jew and Gentile; Fire and Water…these are the things of 2020 (and the Hebrew year 5780).

It is the time of the 5 ‘C’s’ – Confluence, Consummation, Convergence, Council, and Confession.

For the Lord will bring together the bride and the bridegroom, spirit and truth, fire and water, war and peace, with great confluence, and in their consummation a mighty convergence will occur, as the Lord prepares for His return. His council will be seated, and its ordinances fulfilled, with justice and His prophetic promises established. Those who have endured great trial during the ‘waiting’ will see justice.

And the Word of God will be confessed such that no one could deny His truth, these words shall be a plumb line for some, and for others the way of life. For the Lord would restore His true prophetic word to the church, the ecclesia, to be a light to those in darkness, a voice in the wilderness not to be hidden inside, and so we will see His presence made manifest in His house.

[Some Relevant Scripture]

“and said, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

(Matthew 19:5-6)

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

(Matthew 3:11)

“Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered.

And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ there it shall be said to them, ‘You are sons of the living God.’ Then the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together, and appoint for themselves one head; And they shall come up out of the land, for great will be the day of Jezreel!

(Hosea 1:10-11)

The Consummation of Love

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.

(1 John 4:17-19)

And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

(Matthew 8:11)

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it.

(Isaiah 2:2)

I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

(John 10:14-16)

Many nations shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob;

He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion the law shall go forth, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

(Micah 4:2)

But if they had stood in My counsel [council], and had caused My people to hear My words, then they would have turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their doings.

(Jeremiah 23:22)

‘But the court shall be seated, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and destroy it forever. Then the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’

(Daniel 7:26-27)

And this continued for two years, so that all who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

(Acts 19:10)

A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?

(Amos 3:8)

But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord, and of justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin.

(Micah 3:8)

For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!

(1 Corinthians 9:16)

For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.’ ”

(Matthew 3:3)
