May our Father in heaven have mercy on their soul, and in our Lord Jesus Christ forgiveness and peace come to their lands. For surely violence begets violence, and the leaders have wielded the axe of destruction. And yet, faithful ones of this nation have reached out with His hands and words of love, and the Lord seeks other to join with them in intercession, and speak peace to the storm by the power and unction of the Holy Spirit.
