Prophetic prayer for Africa

Prophetic Word (December 2020)

To the continent of Africa, your horn is your strength. Somalia and Kenya, find the way of peace in Christ, put down the insurrection of the wicked, those who have turned away from the Lord. Turn to love, and pursue righteousness, as brothers in Him, join forces, and see what blessing will come upon you and Africa. To South Africa, the Lord says, “Seek My government, not one based on colour or creed, and turn to one another in love and forgiveness once again. Honour the gifts in each other and see you will become a great light to the nations”. Egypt you carry great authority, and yet in your midst the brotherhood continues to weaken your place amongst the nations. Do not rest on the past, seek a new future of hope. Those who strike against the Christ will bring only pain to your nation. And to the place of the setting sun, let God’s wisdom and the Elders rise in the west. Turn from violence, honour each other’s identities in the Lord. While these nations of the west maybe small, God has a great place in His heart for them, and they are the ones who can carry His wisdom to the nations. Only, it is time to emerge from bloodshed, to put down the gun, and reach out with the hand of family. You need not be a land of darkness, see a great Light rises upon your lands.

Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. (Psalm 33:8,9)

“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:35)

Our Prayer (February 2021)

Thank You Father in heaven, that by Your grace and mercy the kingdoms of Kenya and Somalia would become the kingdoms of God and His Christ, that the Horn of Africa will truly become its strength, and this great continent will rise up into its God given identity. We intercede for its people, particularly the widows and orphans, and the work of the Lord Jesus in this land. We pray that they we will turn our hearts to You, who despite knowing their sins and the lies that lay within, gave Himself fully for us to pay the price we could not pay, in order that we be reunited with our Heavenly Father.

Lord you know us, and nothing is hidden from You, thank you that You will cause all that is hidden to be brought to the light. May the darkness that moves across Africa flee in the brightness of the presence of Jesus, and abundant life overflow in the land and into the hearts of those who give their lives to Him, including those who meet beneath the shade of trees. Break our hearts for the things that break Yours. Cause the love of God to triumph over hatred.

Thank You Lord that the blessings of the Lord Jesus Christ will be upon us. May His saving work be made complete in us all, body, soul, and spirit. May You bless us with the miracle of revelation such that You fill our souls with the blessed assurance of His second coming, when He will place all under His feet, and complete the good work He began to the glory of our Heavenly Father.

We prayer for the nations of Africa, particularly Somalia, Kenya, South Africa, the western nation, and Egypt. May we all find our strength in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He raise up true shepherds to care and equip His flock for the calls upon their lives, and that the widows and orphans be placed in family. May Almighty God cause grace and truth, mercy, and justice to prosper in our nations, and His church. Lord, thank You that You prepare us for Your return, and millennium reign, and that as we are strengthened in Christ, we align with the nations of righteousness, and the Lord’s army, to combat the Deceiver and the people of darkness. Thank you Jesus Christ that you will be victorious in all things.

This we pray in the precious name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Saviour. AMEN.

Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. (Psalm 2:10-12)
