Prophetic Word (December 2020)
New Zealand, it is well said you are the land of the long white cloud. This two-edged sword will reveal its hand.
The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance. (Psalm 33:10-12)
Our Prayer (February 2021)
Almighty God, we come to you in humility and awe. Before the world was formed, You had a plan and purpose for our nation, New Zealand. Separating us unto an appointed time You brought people from across the seas, and from many nations, to form the future You had for this land, and Your purposes for the redemption of Your children. First you planted with a people of the seas, then you water and fertilised by a people who carried Your gospel. In Your mercy You brought healing to the land as blood was spilt, as You called the children to arise to Your truth. In this corner of the earth, You raised Your warriors of love, to advance Your kingdom.
Forgive us Lord for losing our way, more concerned with appeasing the false gods of the seas people, and the idols of the nations, rather than understanding that true unity and healing that only comes through the Christ, our Lord. Father God forgive us for turning against Your word and its truths, as we sort to build an empire in which we ruled. Lord Jesus we join with You in intercession for this land and its people, trusting in Your redemption, and the power of Your blood.
Lord, we have mistaken the white clouds of nature with the clouds of Your glory. Our vision has become hindered, and we fell for the false glory of the idols of this land. Our worship of nature and man bringing the dangerous hand of the white cloud of nature. Lord, we repent, turn our hearts afresh to Your face. Expose the ways of Jezebel and let her know Your rebuke. Cause the Spirit of God to blow away the clouds of man, and his creation, and open our eyes to Your presence and Your glory.
We honour You Father, for You have chosen us as a people of Your inheritance. Shake us out of our complacency, pull down the structures of man, and the spirits of the land, that have taken us from Your purposes. Redeem us, restore us, and revive us Lord, breath upon us new life. Strengthen Your saints, raise them up, honour Your bride amongst the nations. You have trained some to wield the Sword of Your Spirit with great power, the humble in heart, devoted to You. Let them arise. Come Lord, breathe Your fire upon us.
This we pray in the precious name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Saviour. AMEN.
Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. (Psalm 2:10-12)
